Emo's is one of Austin's best-known rock clubs, originally opened on Sixth Street in 1992 and central to the city's punk and indie scenes. The club moved to its current East Riverside Drive location in 2011 and now holds roughly 1,700 people. It is operated by Live Nation and hosts touring rock, hip-hop, and electronic acts.
