Terms of service.
Last updated: May 7, 2026
By using Showbase you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
What Showbase is
Showbase is an editorial live-event calendar. We aggregate public listings from third-party ticketing sources, deduplicate them, score them with a transparent algorithm, and link to the original ticketing partner for each show. We do not sell tickets, hold inventory, take payment, or guarantee ticket availability. Every transaction happens on the partner site.
Use of the service
You may use Showbase for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy content from the site without written permission.
- Use Showbase to build a competing aggregator or to relabel our listings as your own.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or any other protective measure.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, attempt to disrupt the site, or use it to harm other users.
Third-party content
Event details (titles, dates, venues, prices, images, ticket links) are sourced from third-party ticketing providers. We do our best to keep them accurate but we can't guarantee that an event hasn't been moved, cancelled, sold out, or repriced since we last refreshed. Always verify the details on the ticketing partner's page before purchasing.
Showbase is not responsible for the conduct, content, terms, or refund policies of the ticketing partners we link to. Your purchase is governed by the terms of the partner site.
Affiliate links
Some outbound ticket links carry partner-program tracking parameters. If you make a purchase, Showbase may earn a small commission from the ticketing company at no extra cost to you. Affiliate revenue does not influence which shows are listed or how they're ranked. Full details at /affiliate-disclosure.
Accounts
You don't need an account to browse Showbase. If you create one, you're responsible for the security of your sign-in method. We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms or is used to abuse the service.
No warranty
Showbase is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error- free, or that listings will always be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Showbase is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or from any third-party content or transaction reached through the site. Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months — which, for nearly all users, is zero.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged in the next weekly digest for subscribed users.
