Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air venue built into a natural sandstone formation in Morrison, Colorado, about 15 miles west of Denver. Opened in 1941 and seating roughly 9,500, it is famous for its acoustics and dramatic setting. The Beatles played there in 1964, and U2's 1983 'Under a Blood Red Sky' concert film cemented its legendary status.
