The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is a large outdoor amphitheater in The Woodlands, north of Houston, opened in 1990. With a capacity of roughly 16,500 between covered seating and lawn, it is consistently among the highest-attended amphitheaters in the world. It doubles as a performing arts venue, serving as a summer home for the Houston Symphony.
