Merriweather Post Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheater set in the Symphony Woods of Columbia, Maryland, opened in 1967 with a design by Frank Gehry's firm. With pavilion and lawn it holds around 19,000 and is a major summer stop between DC and Baltimore, operated by I.M.P. The Animal Collective album of the same name is named after it.
